The Argyll Arcade is one of Europe's oldest covered shopping arcades and Scotland's first ever indoor shopping mall.
The L-shaped arcade was built in 1827 in the Parisian style. The arcade was cut through old tenements and provides a link between Argyle Street and Buchanan Street.
The Argyll Arcade is situated at the junction between Buchanan Street and Argyle Street. You can enter athe Argyll Arcade from 30 Buchanan Street (opposite Frasers) or 102 Argyle Street (opposite the St Enoch Centre).
The nearest subway station is St Enoch Centre and buses stop outside the Argyle Street enterance at the St Enoch Centre (Bus Stop 609049). The Argyll Arcade is a well-known trademark to every Glasgow taxi driver.
Parking is available at St Enoch or the NCP at Mitchell Lane (approx 2 minutes walk away.)
