Entertainment in Glasgow

Glasgow has a wealth of entertainment available, with live theatre, and a massive selection of cinemas, bars and restaurants, featuring live entertainment. Few places can rival Glasgow for a fun filled evening out.

A few years ago Glasgow was chosen as 'City of Culture' mainly due to a wide span of art, theatre, film and music. These include Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Scotland and Citizen’s Theatre.

The wide range of excellent concert and entertainment venues include Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Theatre Royal, City Halls, King’s Theatre, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
