The Citizens Theatre is an iconic venue and theatre company based in the Gorbals area of Glasgow. It seats 454 on two main levels.
The Citizens has a distinguished history that continues today, presenting a world-class repertoire based on British and foreign classics, contemporary plays and new writing.
A short walk from the Merchant City and Trongate, straight across Victoria Bridge onto Gorbals Street. Free car parking is available in our own car park adjacent to the theatre building which provides level access to the theatre building. Entry is via Crown Street & Laurieston Road only.
