Where else in Glasgow can you see a million objects, from the smallest insect to the biggest locomotive, all under one roof?

Glasgow Museums Resource Centre (GMRC) is home to a vast collection of objects from around the world.

You name it, we've got it: paintings, pots, swords, stuffed animals, ship models, vintage cars, clocks, kayaks - the list goes on and on. Although we have nine museums, we can only display a tiny fraction of our collection at any one time. The rest is stored at GMRC, our publicly accessible museum store. And it's all available for you to see.

Glasgow Museums Resource Centre, Nitshill, is a new purpose-built museum storage facility and visitor centre in Glasgow's South Side.

Opening Hours:
Monday to Thursday and Saturday 10am to 5pm
Friday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
